One of the newer and popular dolls these days are the Lalaloopsy Dolls. These are supposed to be rag dolls that have come to life when the last stitch is made. They are supposed to take on the characteristics of the fabric used to make them. Because of that, a doll made from a sailor’s outfit loves the water and has a pet whale, while another made from an apron loves to bake, and yet another made from a magicians cape loves magic and has a pet rabbit.
It’s worth noting that although these are touted as rag dolls come to life, but actually, these dolls are made of plastic. The legs are jointed and moveable, but they are made to be a little more rugged than a rag doll.
One kind of Lalaloopsy doll and springy plastic hair that is made to be styled. These are called Silly Hair Lalaloopsy dolls. One of the most popular of these is the Silly Hair Doll Jewel Sparkles.
Barbie and her Fairy Kingdom
Barbie has joined the fairy doll craze and there are many Barbie Fairytopia dolls. There are Barbie movies that take place in Fairytopia, and games and many character dolls.
Not only are there fashion sized dolls from Fairytopia, but there are also smaller figurines that little girls can enjoy playing with.

When someone is collecting these dolls, it’s nice to have a picture of them. Or perhaps a little girl playing with them would make a good photograph.
